Current Crush: Superheroes!

Today I'm trying something a little different for Thursday - I'm linking up over at Framed Frosting with one of my fabulous sponsors, Danielle, for her linkup, Current Crush! I've been trying to figure out a way to let you all know a little nerdy fact about myself (that you may have already picked up) and this seemed like an excellent way to do it! So, if you haven't yet - go link up! And let's talk a little about my Current Crush. 

I am endlessly in love with superheroes. Sometimes the love goes into remission, but after the boyfriend and I went to see The Avengers last week, the obsession came back full force.

I knew about almost all of the superheroes involved in this movie, but I didn't really know too much about Hawkeye. After seeing him in action, and how he interacted with the Black Widow, count my interest piqued.

First off, Jeremy Renner is mind-blowingly hot. I mean, look at that man. And for whatever reason, watching him deploy his bow with just a snap of his arm was kind of amazing. I was mesmerized. The boyfriend thought I was ridiculous. I probably was. 

Well, after doing a little research into the character (like I said, huge superhero nerd. I have a need to know their backstories almost immediately) I found out that the character was written to be from the same town where I go to college! Imagine my excitement. And thus my love for the character grew a little more, turning Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner, and The Avengers into my Current Crush. 

And now I will head off to a comic book store and buy all sorts of fun things to indulge my nerdiness. Have a lovely Thursday!
