Cooking adventures and an awesome apron giveaway!

Well, I survived and am happy to say that life on the other side of 21 is.... different, but not really all that different. I think the combination of moving into my first rental property, transitioning into a serious leadership position on campus and getting ready to start senior year have had more of an impact than turning 21. Still, I'm planning on doing some more "adult" things now that I'm legally of age. Like half price martini nights and starting the world beer tour at Old Chicago and making my first liquor purchase. Come on, guys, you know it's an exciting feeling when someone says "Can I see your ID?" and you can go "Why yes, yes you can!"

Ok maybe I'm a little bit of a freak, but oh well. 

Tomorrow I'm going to have a much better recap of all things birthday related, but today I've got something so much better for you! 

While I'm procrastinating putting together a tour of my house for you guys, I'm dreaming of recipes to cook. Our kitchen is fantastic and it is begging me to become a five star chef. Hey, it could happen. Shoot for the stars, right?

I'm dreaming of things like these Chick-Fil-A taste-alikes (so I never have to deal with the store again if I don't want to...)
